Rob Vansweevelt
Rob Vansweevelt obtained a PhD in Physics at Hasselt University (Dissertation: “The potential of graphite, graphene and amorphous carbon structures as DNA sensor platforms”). His educational background is supported by his extensive knowledge gained as as an R&D scientist at Phoreon, A brand of Pharma Diagnostics. At this bio- and nanotechnology company he was involved in nanomaterial synthesis, surface functionalization and (kinetic) assay development. In addition, he gained profound knowledge on signal readout and signal analysis, including co-developing signal analysis software.
